I don't like that he says "repentence is action", which makes it a work. Repentance is simply a change of belief in the mind about sin, that the Bible explicitly states is required for salvation, as it is, in some places, directly mentioned with belief as to how to become saved. You can't backpedal from that and claim to speak the truth; it is there; cherrypicking against it, or making the Bible contradict itself to deny repentance from sin being mandatory for salvation, is not the path to salvation. All that denial of repentance does is undermine God's Word. An honest change of mind [which is a belief], that sin is wrong, will have the true Christian striving for eventually quitting sinning excessively in their life [the belief leading to the action, or else it wouldnt be a real belief...hypocritical belief doesnt count], as a myriad of scripture warns asks and tells us to. It would be impossible to do without the Holy Spirit, our cloak of righteousness. The natural man [without God] cannot help but live in sin, as scripture says. Actual born again Christians obviously would not be living in sin exactly like the unsaved; that would be 100% pure and flagrant heresy. A true belief in Christ, that gets the holy spirit inside of someone, would have that person, to some degree, at war with their flesh/carnal mind, as the Bible says. The spirit and the flesh war against each other, if God's spirit isn't warring with your flesh, it's likely a good indicator that one does not in fact have the holy spirit. Some folks say they believe but don't need to repent; I ask them, what God do they actually believe in? The one in the Bible makes it clear the path to salvation, believe, repent, be saved. It is some other false Jesus that has folks ignore the majority of the Bible and play mental gymnastics to undermine the Bibles clear directive of how to become saved. Also, "Go and sin no more"...those red letters wouldn't be in the Bible of Jesus talking to the samaritan woman if it were impossible, as many claim. What is impossible is being born without sin, as there was only Christ who was born without sin. At some point in your life, forsaking conscious sinning is entirely possible, and not the same as being born without sin. "For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God". All have sinned, it doesn't say "all constantly sin", meaning every human has sinned in their lives, not that they're 24/7 enveloped in it. It shows sin is an action of evil/rebellion against God's will for human action, which is love/peace, and those with God's spirit can avoid sin, unlike the unsaved. There is no other thing to repent for than for sin. Biting your nails isn't sin, likely the dude wanted to quit biting his nails anyway and psychologically, thought since he prayed, God wanted him to do it because he thought about it during around the time he prayed. That doesn't really scripturally fit. The Bible only suggest repentance from sin/wrongdoing, not things that don't matter either way. Also, water baptism does nothing to save people. It was a ceremony [like OT rituals] that let folks realize how shortly, the spirit of God, which is what the Bible calls "water" in some places, would be loosed upon the world to baptize the believers with God's spirit. People of that time era understood new things easily in the form of parables and ceremonies [unless hard hearts like the pharisees], which is why God spoke with them so often, and why a physical ritual of baptism paved the way for the physically unseen spiritual change. A quick read of Galatians 3/6 etc would affirm this. It directly says the physical aspects don't matter, it's the spiritual change. Physically dunking your head in water doesn't save you, being baptized by the spirit of God upon believing does.

As muslims we a similar prayer after using the washroom. Also there is another one before going in. We almost have a prayer for everything before and after. Even prophet Jesus, may blessing and peace of Allah be upon him, did things according to the will of God. “Verily, verily I say unto you, the Son can do nothing of himself, but what he seeth the Father do; for what things soever he doeth, these also doeth the Son likewise.” [John 5:19.]
